1 ½ C CAKE FLOUR
1 ½ t BAKING POWDER
1 C + 1 T SUGAR
4 OZ CREAM CHEESE, room temperature
¼ C UNSALTED BUTTER, room temperature
¾ C HEAVY CREAM
2 EGGS
¼ t VANILLA BEAN PASTE (or extract)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 9" round cake pan with nonstick spray. Sprinkle bottom and sides with sugar, tapping out any excess. Whisk flour and baking powder in small bowl. Using electric mixer, beat 1 cup sugar, cream cheese and butter in bowl to blend. Beat cream, eggs and vanilla in another bowl. Beat cream mixture into cream cheese mixture. Add dry ingredients and beat until smooth. Transfer batter to prepared pan and sprinkle remaining 1 T sugar over the top of the batter. Bake cake 30-35 minutes or until tester inserted into center comes out clean. Cool in pan on rack. Serve with mixed berries and whipped cream.
