POMEGRANATE ST. GERMAIN SORBET

1 C SUGAR
1 C WATER
8 OZ POMEGRANATE JUICE
¼ C LIME JUICE
¼ C ST. GERMAIN LIQUEUR
LIME SLICES, garnish

Combine sugar and water in small saucepan and set over high heat, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a simmer and all the sugar has been dissolved. Remove from heat and pour into medium bowl. Add pomegranate juice, lime juice and St. Germain to sugar and water mixture and chill in refrigerator overnight. Pour into an ice cream/sorbet maker. Process according to the manufacturer’s suggestions. Transfer mixture to a storage container and freeze. Serve in chilled martini glasses with a slice of lime as garnish.
