BLACKBERRY MINT SWEET TEA SORBET
4 C WATER
1 ½ C SUGAR
6 OZ BLACKBERRIES
1/3 C MINT LEAVES, torn
1/3 C + 1 T INSTANT TEA POWDER
¾ C LEMON JUICE
½ C SWEET TEA VODKA
Combine water, sugar, blackberries and mint leaves in a medium saucepan set over medium high heat. Whisk until sugar dissolves and the mixture comes to a boil, pressing on the berries to soften. Remove from heat and let steep for 15 minutes. Strain and discard solids. Whisk in the instant tea, lemon juice and sweet tea vodka into the blackberry mint mixture and refrigerate overnight. Pour contents into a sorbet maker and process according to manufacturer’s instructions. Serve with blackberries and mint leaves.
